COVID Vaccine Information (updated 1/25/2021)

PMSI has registered as a COVID-19 vaccine distribution location.  We are currently hoping for a shipment from the PA Department of Health in February.  We encourage our patients to schedule their COVID-19 vaccination as soon as possible through any available distribution site.  Please check this website often for updates.

When we do receive COVID vaccine we will be following the CDC guidelines for distribution.

Since there is no confirmed shipping or arrival date of the vaccine we will not be pre-booking patient appointments.  We will be contacting patients by CDC defined priority groups as soon as PMSI receives the vaccine.

The link below will answer many questions about the COVID vaccine.  If you are unsure about receiving the vaccine please consult your rheumatologist, oncologist, pulmonologist or primary care provider to see if you need any treatment plan changes before receiving the vaccine.  If you have ever had a severe allergic reaction that required the use of an Epi-Pen, please let our staff know when scheduling.
