Full-time Nurse Practitioner

PMSI is a 60 provider- physician owned multi-specialty practice located approximately 50 minutes west of Philadelphia in the Pottstown area. PMSI is fully implemented with electronic medical records, we are a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home certified by the NCQA.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Nurse Practitioner to join one of our primary care offices in the Royersford area. The mid- level would join 3 full time family practice providers in a growing community.


ABILITY TO:
1) Establishes a rapport with patients by communicating concisely both orally and in writing.
2) Conducts telephone interviews with patients and forms an assessment.
3) Makes a triage decision using established nursing protocols or guidelines.
4) Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations
5) Diagnose, treat and monitor acute and chronic healthcare problems and diseases
6) Offers predetermined advice.
7) Provides follow-up care as needed.
8) Order, perform and interpret test results.
9) Prescribes medications and treatment modalities.
10) Provide healthcare maintenance care.
11) Promote positive healthcare behaviors and self-care skills through education and counseling.
12) Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers as needed
13) Records precise documentation
